John Dies at the End may not be all I was hoping for, but it's still a fun enough movie, especially if you go see it with the right mindset. Hansel and Gretel on the other hand... just don't.

Studio Ghibli's next movie is based on Mary Norton's "Borrowers" series.
Wizards of the Coast is asking players for their ideas for the next edition of "Dungeons and Dragons." They will start by conducting a playtest of the ideas currently in development at this month's "D&D Experience" convention. Then in spring, they plan to release a growing set of rules, classes and monsters on their website and ask for player feedback.

Fantasy author, Anne McCaffrey passed away today at the age of 85. Best known for her "Dragonriders of Pern" series, McCaffrey began her writing career in 1967 with the publication of "Restoree," her first novel. She was rumored to be working on a new installment of the "Pern" series.
Thanks for creating such amazing worlds for us to inhabit every once in a while, Mrs. McCaffrey. You will be missed.
