Behold, the "marryoke!" Which is a terrible term for a wedding party lip syncing to a song on video. Apparently this trend is an increasingly popular alternative to a traditional wedding video. So much so that The Washington Post has even devoted a whole article to it. What I'm trying to wrap my mind around is why people want to capture the awkward, stiff-dancing people do at karaoke on video and remember it forever. Why?
