The most astounding part of this creation is how did they tie lil bows with fondant? Magical bakers, you have so many secrets! I bow to your genius and marvel at your mystical powers.
I'll admit it, I'm a grown woman with a not entirely ironic fondness for Twilight. I'm not a mom, I'm not living vicariously through my teenage daughters (because, ick). I'm just a person who sometimes loves reading really schlocky, badly-written novels with quickly moving plot lines. I wouldn't be ashamed of this cake showing up on my birthday, except that Edward looks a little sickly gray and moldy. Not a good look for a sparkly vampire.
We just had an old chair reupholstered recently and decided not to have tufted cushions because those damn buttons catch on everything and rip out all the time. In cake form, the only thing buttons have to worry about is my sneaky fingers popping them off and eating them.
There must be about 20 flowers packed on every cupcake! That's pretty amazing. And they're all so different and incredibly made. Are they crunchy? Soft? Do I spy some of my most favorite edible glitter hiding in there? I wish it weren't so cold because this calls for a tea party in the garden for sure!
