I wonder if it's possible to make cookies that smell faintly of flowers that don't taste like perfume. These look like they should smell like a meadow and taste like sunshine.
I love the motif of kind of spiky flowers like this on baked goods. It contrasts nicely with the soft roundness of the cake itself, don't you think? I don't know much about flowers but I bet you guys do; are there real life spiky flowers like that out in the wild?
I love the large, polka-dot type sprinkles here. They make everything feel like the most special party. If someone makes you something with oversized sprinkles, it's pretty obvious that they love you more than anyone loved you before. FACT.
