Stargate: Three great series that no longer exist. But which do you miss the most? Both "Stargate Atlantis" and "Stargate Universe" were cancelled well before their time, lasting only five and two seasons respectively. Both also had movies planned to wrap up the stories. Neither movie happened.
SG-1 on the other hand lasted 10 whole seasons, but its cancellation still hurt for many loyal fans.
But which series most deserves another chance?
Two great sci-fi shows from the late 90s and early 2000s. "Andromeda" was based on unused material written by Gene Roddenberry. Farscape was conceived in part by Brian Henson, and had some amazing creature effects from the Jim Henson Company. Unfortunately, both were cancelled after only a few seasons, leaving fans wanting more. But which series do you miss the most?
Both shows follow the adventures of a captain and his crew, both have extremely dedicated fans, and both were sadly cancelled before their time.
While "Star Trek" eventually became a huge franchise, spanning multiple series and movies, the original series lasted only three years before low ratings caused the network to cancel it.
"Firefly" on the other hand only lasted 13 episodes. But dedicated fans rallied around the show and we eventually got a movie, giving the series some much needed
"The 4400" was what "Heroes" should have been. It had an interesting premise and great characters, but was sadly not renewed for a fifth season, leaving us on a cliffhanger.
