An easter-egg in Firefly's pilot episode reveals that it takes place in the same universe as the Alien series. It appears the anti-aircraft cannon Mal uses to shoot down an Alliance fighter was manufactured by Weyland-Yutani Corp.

So does this mean Weyland-Yutani provided the Browncoats with weapons to fight the Alliance? Whose side do you think they were on in the Unification War?

"Cabin in the Woods" is an upcoming sci-fi horror film produced and co-written by Joss Whedon, and directed by Drew Goddard. The movie was originally scheduled to be released nearly two years ago. MGM dropped it due to financial dificulties, and Lionsgate picked up the film earlier this year. What's cool about this is it means we get to see pre-"Thor" Chris Hemsworth.

Graphic Designer Adam Levermore really wants a job on Joss Whedon's upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series. He wants it so much, he made this short comedy film/job application showcasing his work.

"CBS Sunday Morning" did this cool segment about Joss Whedon's career, even showing a little bit of his next film, "Much Ado About Nothing."
