Traditionally in China, moon cakes are given to coworkers and families as traditional gifts and shared among several people with tea. Despite the 1200 calories per cake, I'd have a hard time sharing. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not Chinese.

I'm going to let our fair submitter describe these amazing cakes in her own words!

I made this cakes for my older sister's 20th birthday, the robots are made to look like her and her boyfriend of three years. The one on the left is her, with pink strawberry flavour cake with jam and on the left is her boyfriend with chocolate cake and nutella. Both are covered in marzipan with a touch of edible glitter (Oh and the heart at the top is a biscuit with red icing).

Bravo! These are super adorable!

Though these puffs look a slight bit terrified, I still find them comforting. Can't you just imagine them bobbing around in a big mug of hot chocolate with their big eyes and whiskers melting away? Mmmmm, creamy Totoro puffs!

When you've got cakes decorating your cake wrapped around berries and cream, you know it's going to be an awesome birthday.

When I was a kid I LOVED PB&J sammiches! I would have lost my mind if someone presented one to me in cookie form!

I want to see the stack of heart shaped cream they cut out of each cookie. It's like sticky confetti! Mmmmmm I could go for a sleeve of Oreos about now.
