No, it's not a fan-made film, it's actually a made-for-TV movie that was supposed to air on Syfy but was delayed, probably because... well, look at it. With the "Twilight" series of movies drawing to a close, I guess the studios needed to find some way to keep that money flowing in. Here's the first trailer for the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's other book, "The Host," about an alien parasite who falls in love. Of course it does.
Am I wrong in thinking this can't possibly be anything but terrible? Has anyone read this book? It at least can't be as bad as "Twilight." Right?
