In Wednesday night's premiere of Season 4 of the A&E hit 'Duck Dynasty', viewers saw just how The Robertsons pulled of a DIY wedding on their sprawling Louisiana property. After 50 years of marriage, Miss Kay, the matriarch of the clan, got the wedding she never had with Phil.
"I guess dreams really do come true... I feel like I'm living a fairy tale," she said about her vow renewal. But it was up to Si, Phil's brother and veteran of Vietnam to take the couple on a trip down memory lane. They wound up at a tree the two had carved their initials into, all those years ago.
"Seeing that tree just warmed my heart," said Miss Kay. "I can't believe Si actually remembered that."
Over the weekend, Liam Payne tweeted at Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson thanking him for upholding "family values." However, for the Robertson family, "family values" include having a tragically bigoted attitude toward homosexuality. That didn't seem to bother Payne much, although he'd be wise to remember that One Direction has a substantial gay fanbase.
