This is my grandparents at their wedding in the early 50s. My grandma was almost 4 months pregnant but still managed to fit into this teensy outfit! The were married until she passed away unexpectedly in 2008. They spend fifty five years together, bickering, laughing and generally being amazing.

Looks like it was more of a tiny squeeze for your petite grandmother to fit in that lovely suit. Beautiful at a turning point in a beautiful relationship!

This is a picture of my grandparents' wedding in 1949. Although they have been divorced for nearly 40 years, they both died in 2011, only a half year apart.

Thank you for sharing this story and great photo with us! At the risk of sounding irreverent, I'm pretty sure I know what your grandfather was thinking when this photo was taken.

Delisacrafton says: "My grandparents were to be married October but my grandpa was in the army and couldn't come home because of the Cuban missile crisis. When he did finally come home it was December and they got married. They were married in another city than they lived which was an hour away and they forgot to tell the camera man. A week later they put back on their clothes and took this picture in a photo studio thus being their only wedding picture."

We interrupt your regularly scheduled vintage wedding photos to take you on a stroll down The Cheezburger Network's wedding memory lane! We hope this disproves any rumors that we're all robots here once and for all. (Except me, of course)

Above is John and Ursula, the parents of our own Not-So-Handy-Andy from There I Fixed It! They were married in South Africa in 1983.

My grandpa was a photographer. Instead of throwing rice, the guests used the flashes from their cameras.

This is my favorite wedding picture of my Grand Parents Phylis and George. Gramma was definitely a "Flapper" - but was Grampa a "Gangsta"?

Grandpa also apparently had Transitions Lenses before they were even invented! Amazing!
