Two friends of mine just got married. This was how the gentleman proposed to his lady (after making her a special deck for Christmas, first)

This looks like the most complicated proposal in the the world, but maybe that's because I don't play Magic The Gathering. However, even with my severely limited knowledge I can tell that The Proposer risked a lot in playing The Ring card. I mean, what if she had sacrificed it? That would mean an eternity of Thom Yorke...

Also, inb4 "tap that" wedding night jokes.

Matt Smith, who shares his name with actor Matt Smith who portrays The Eleventh Doctor, proposed to his girlfriend Stacie-Anne Dilkes at The Doctor Who Experience exhibit in London. Matt even donned some Doctor-duds! And that other, more famous guy with his same name? He had nice things to say for them!

Matt Smith proposing to his girlfriend! Firstly, being a Smith means phone calls to the bank take so much longer – there are so many Smiths!! But I bet none of them have proposed at the Doctor Who Experience! Amy and Rory would be proud. Next – babies in the TARDIS…? Congratulations to you both and many years of happiness. Love, Matt.

Unless you meant it to be an engagement collar, that won't fit her 1-pixel wide fingers...

I'm not sure about you guys, but nothing gets me in the mood for romance like 1's and 0's used to represent numerical values!

My boyfriend told me I had to close my laptop for a couple minutes, then when I logged back on this was posted to my facebook wall. He sat across the room as I transcribed and then decoded it. After about a half hour I found out it says, "Rachel, you are awesome. Will you marry me?" I said yes, of course :B

My husband and I both love old school Zelda games. My crafty friend Lee whipped these up using Perler beads, which exactly mimic 8-bit graphics. These are characters from Link's Awakening (Link and Marin) but altered to look more like us.
