My friend had a geeky wedding, this was his tie clip.
Honestly, I would have just taken it for a very elaborate hair clip.
Recently in Toronto at the "Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy" concert, Seth Hay proposed to his girlfriend, Cheryl Murray, in an appropriately geeky and spectacular fashion.
"Once the time came, Arnie (the composer) announced that 'Cloud' has a special message to share." Video started to roll. Final Fantasy VII's "Aeris's Theme" began to play. And the crowd watched as Cloud gave Murray the message Hay had composed for her: "Cheryl Murray, would you do me the honor of marrying me?" (Don't worry. She said yes.) This is how my boyfriend proposed to me! It is a picture of a set of custom G.I. Joes that John made of me and him. Since he has a bad knee he did it this way. In the background there are stormtroopers, iron man, thor, my lego guys, R2D2, C3PO, cobra vipers, and Duke and Scarlett (from G.I. Joe).
Not sure who you should be more worried about crashing your wedding, COBRA or the Galactic Empire. Congratulations and G-IIIIIIIIII JOOOOOEEEEEEEEEE!
