The groom is a huge Whovian and designed every detail of the cake himself. The silver ribbon was custom screenprinted with the name of the Doctor in Galifreyan script by the groom's mother. He even colored the Amy figurine's hair to match the bride's. For her part, the bride surprised him with the Doctor Who themed photo collage platform for his cake, proving that he could never find a better companion anywhere throughout time and space.

Amazing! I'm just worried about how the cake topper Doctor and his companion are gonna get out of this jam!

Matt Smith, who shares his name with actor Matt Smith who portrays The Eleventh Doctor, proposed to his girlfriend Stacie-Anne Dilkes at The Doctor Who Experience exhibit in London. Matt even donned some Doctor-duds! And that other, more famous guy with his same name? He had nice things to say for them!

Matt Smith proposing to his girlfriend! Firstly, being a Smith means phone calls to the bank take so much longer – there are so many Smiths!! But I bet none of them have proposed at the Doctor Who Experience! Amy and Rory would be proud. Next – babies in the TARDIS…? Congratulations to you both and many years of happiness. Love, Matt.

Check out more Doctor Who!

They show Adult Swim Bumpers at DragonCon on all manner of geeky sci-fi and fantasy material. However I made my own, and showed it to my fiancee in a packed ballroom of 2000 cheering Whedon fans at a Doctor Horrible event during the intermission. Then put the ring on her finger on stage as the crowd literally went wild. Now to do the Gallifreyan Doctor Who Wedding next year...
