We interrupt your regularly scheduled vintage wedding photos to take you on a stroll down The Cheezburger Network's wedding memory lane! We hope this disproves any rumors that we're all robots here once and for all. (Except me, of course)
Above is John and Ursula, the parents of our own Not-So-Handy-Andy from There I Fixed It! They were married in South Africa in 1983.
My parents had my older half-sister in their wedding, she and mom had "mother-daughter" vows. My mother made her dress (it weighs fifteen lbs), my dad made his garb and my elder sister's.
Well, wedding close to sea, I presume. The taped lower right-hand corner tells me this photo has seen a lot of love over the years. Very cute!
Dad was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Corps of Engineers. Mom & Dad got married at Ft. Lewis Washington after the war, and his men decorated this earth mover as their "carriage" from the chapel to the reception. This is a colorized black and white, and I especially like how they drew in a rainbow in the background.
This is my great-grandfather (Piotr) and great-grandmother's (Magdelena) wedding. They were married in 1907, less 4 years after they immigrated to America from Poland.
