This took me forever to figure out what the hell was going on. Have you figured it out?
Kate says: "My good friend and I were at a mutual friends wedding, and I caught the bouquet and he caught the garter. It was very awkward because we don't really feel romanitcally inclined towards each other. We took this photo before the bouquet/garter dance. These are our expressions of horror."
What does the photographer want us to feel when we look at this? Is the tangled kite some kind of a metaphor for her life? Was she somehow riding the giant kite and got stuck in the forest? Who would ride a giant kite next to a bunch of trees, anyway? In conclusion, I strongly dislike forced whimsy.
