This weekend at Comic Con, Joss Whedon announced the title for the second installment of the Avengers franchise: Age of Ultron. The title refers to Ultron. a living automaton and villain who wipes out all of mankind beginning with the Avengers. This revelation comes on the heels of Marvel's negotiation with Vin Diesel to take on a secretive role, he's already played a robot once in "The Iron Giant". Will Ultron be his return?
Avengers 2 got the front cover of Entertainment Weekly just days before Marvel takes the stage at San Diego Comic-Con, and some choice details about robotic baddie, Ultron, have been revealed. Like many have speculated, Ultron will be a creation of Tony Stark's: an automated superhero defense system.
