After five decades of outstanding service to journalism, Barbara Walters goes out with a bang on SNL. There have been many impersonations of one-in-a-million news woman on the renowned sketch comedy show, but she steals the last laugh by having a little fun of her own with a humorous look back at her career.
After four years playing President Obama on SNL, Fred Armisen is (thankfully) turning the job over to Jay Pharoah, who joined the show in 2010.
"Jay has been doing Obama in his act this summer, and Jay is coming into his own," Lorne Michaels said. "I just thought it might be time to shake it up."
(Here's a clip of Pharoah as Obama so you can decide for yourself.)
Relevant: Jason Sudeikis will reprise his roles as Mitt Romney and Joe Biden, and Taran Killam has been tapped to portray Paul Ryan.
