Have you started stuffing your face with corned beef and cabbage yet? Are you 4 Guinnesses deep? Have you been pinched or kissed? Go crazy, dye the river green, gorge on Irish cheddar and remember to drink lots of water and take some ibuprofen before bed.
It's almost time for one of my favorite holidays, St. Patrick's Day! I'm not concerned with my Irish heritage or collecting kisses or wearing green (though I do look very nice in green). No, I'm excited about my good friend Matt's corned beef. he cures a crapload of brisket and cooks it all day, then pairs it with his amazing home made sauerkraut and mashed potatoes and soda bread and Irish cheddar and dark beer and ohhhhhhh... I better get to the gym, I'm fixing to pack on a few pounds.
St. Patrick's Day is coming up on Thursday! I love green, I love Ireland, I love foods that get all dressed up for the holidays! I'll be regaling you with all the best goodies coming through the tubes this week to help celebrate.
