I bet the tops of the cookies get all mushy and cake-like while the bottom one stays crunchy. I know what I'm having for dessert tonight!
I've never had a cannelé before, but they look amazing. According to Mowielicious they are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside and made with rum. Ooh mama I think I need to put on my baking face and tackle some of these babies! Have you had them? What did you think?
Have you ever seen a cannoli so wee or so precious? I can get full heartedly behind this trend of micro desserts. Usually I only want one or two bites of a dessert and this way you can try a whole bunch of different nibbles and not feel all guilty about it.
