Why is it so unusual to see colored sugar cookies that don't come in a frozen tube? I honestly don't know if I've seen anything other than a macaron in this lovely shade of red. And why not? I say we start a revolution of homemade sugar cookies.
Ooh just think about how extra sweet and juicy the berries get when they warm up a little bit in the fryer! I'm not usually a huge proponent of frying everything I can get my hands on, but a tart, crisp berry in a crispy light layer of fried batter is irresistible!
