Making someone a sandwich, even as humble and simple as a good ol' pb&j is a real act of love. Just think of all the sandwiches you've eaten; aren't those made by someone especially for you a million times tastier than the ones you've made for yourself?

I propose that it always be Valentine's Day in our hearts if not on our calendars. Why should you have to wait until next February to make a cake this lovely?

Let's face it, once you cut into a pie it's just a mess. It's much easier to maintain the aesthetics of a pie if each person has their own.

All sandwiches should be bite-sized and heart shaped. As Empress of the Kingdom of Cutesville I proclaim it to be so. Do your best.

Sure Valentine's Day isn't for a few more months. That doesn't mean you can't put a little love into your food all year round.

The simplest things can sometimes make such a huge impact! I'd never think of cutting carrots into hearts for soup. bento, sure, but what a fantastic idea! Also of course, big love for Snoopy. He looks like he'd enjoy a lovely bowl of soup.
