Paper is paper, sometimes it's even better with a little extra texture.
Poor birdie, doesn't he realize that the flower has a button in the middle and isn't a real flower at all? Poor blogger, doesn't she realize that the whole thing is made of sugar and the birdie isn't even real? I get lost sometimes guys, for real.
This would go so well at a tea party with mismatched antique teacups and saucers. Matching sets are nice and all but there's something so charming about a cobbled together collection. Plus, one pattern just gets boring, right?
I love soft pink peonies, they are probably one of the prettiest flowers there is. I'm also a big fan of the ombre effect on a cake, used here so so well. I'd wear a dress like this cake, with the peony in my hair.
I'd like to think that this cake really does have lots and lots of separate little layers, each one wrapped in its own pretty tissue paper just a little different than the one below it.
Oh the simplest things can make my heart flutter and skip! I am not much of a baker, I have zero patience for making my food pretty. For me it's all about flavor. When someone cares enough to make something gorgeous and perfect, my heart goes pitter-pat.
I need more flowers on things that I own but I only have this colored duct tape? What to do?
