Perhaps the biggest news here is that a DeLorean Motor Company still exists. Based in Humble Texas, they supply parts and occasionally build new cars for DeLorean enthusiasts.

Now, they've announced a new electric version of the car. The company says they will begin selling the car built-to-order in 2013 for around $90,000. They say it will be able to hit 125 miles per hour, and have a range of at least 70 miles per charge.

Still, I can't shake the feeling that if my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, the battery's gonna take a serious s**t.

A short sci-fi film with time travel, and a very "Blade-Runner" like future. Made by Stargate Studios, the people behind the visual effects of "The Walking Dead," "Heroes," 24," and more.
