The poster for Star Trek Into Darkness shows Benedict Cumberbatch as the (still unnamed) villain in front of a destroyed London. Here's the movie's official synopsis:
"When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.
With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.
As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew."
That seems to rule out Khan. Who do you think the villain is? Could it actually be Gary Marshall?
Love it, although I'm not sure Tim Burton would be the right fit for this epic 80s love story. Sure, he'd capture the quirky awkwardness of an unfrozen delivery boy in love with a mutant from the future, but John Hughes would add more heart, more angst and a better soundtrack.
Also, since nobody thought to include the pivotal role of Zapp Brannigan on the poster, I'm gonna throw my two cents in and nominate William Shatner as the obvious choice.
