George R.R. Martin talks about his childhood, sci-fi and fantasy, and how he got into writing.
Joss Whedon has been busy with "The Avengers" and other side projects lately, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been thinking about a followup to "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog." In a recent interview, Whedon teased that work on a sequel could begin as soon as this summer.
"We are hard on it. It's been a really tough year — couple of years — partially, I'm happy to say, because of work," Whedon said. "We're stuck, basically, at this one part in the process. All of us are looking at this summer as the time when we can go, 'Hey, you know what? We've got a little free time, let's get unstuck.' Neil has been like, 'How long?' We're all sort of just waiting, but the waiting will stop."
I really hope this is true. Especially because now summertime's near. And Dr. Horrible is (almost) here. To make you quake with fear, to make the whole world kneel.
This is the third part of a longer interview with George R.R. Marin. You can either watch the whole thing, or skip to the 30 minute mark of this video to hear an excerpt from the next book of "A Song of Ice and Fire."
