While some of the action scenes can be pretty cool, the new Total Recall isn't nearly as fun to watch or as memorable as the 1990 version.

Will you go see Total Recall this weekend, or will you stay home and watch Ahnold's version again? Or you could always read the short story, "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale," especially if you haven't already. Seriously, go read it. Right now. It's amazing.

It's hard to talk about Looper without spoiling it, so I'll just say it's a smart and fun sci-fi action movie that you should see in theaters. It has some problems, but the tight storytelling, great characters, and interesting world more than make up for any issues I had.

This is a hard movie to recommend. For me, the good outweighed the not-so-good, and I ended up enjoying the movie a lot. Many people don't feel that way, and it's easy to see why.

If you go see Cloud Atlas this weekend, please come back here and tell us what you think. This is one of those movies where it helps to get as many opinions together as possible.

Spoiler warning: The review does contain a spoiler for the movie's big "plot twist." It's included because it's so infuriatingly stupid I couldn't not mention it.

The final Twilight movie sucks. Shocking, I know. If you end up seeing this movie, why? Whatever the reason, tell us what you think of it. Seriously though, why?

While the script has some problems, Prometheus more than makes up for them with brilliant acting, beautiful direction and extraordinarily tense and terrifying moments. Even the 3D worked perfectly and was never distracting or disorienting. As someone who is generally tired of 3D, it's nice to see a movie come along that does it well.

Will you see Prometheus this weekend? Or do you live in Europe and have already seen it? Either way, tell us what you think.

The Amazing Spider-Man actually turned out much better than I thought it was going to be. If it hadn't been for that terribly long, drawn out ending, it probably would have gotten a higher rating. The way the quality of the writing changed so frequently throughout the film was weird though. It's like they had two teams of writers. One that was interested in developing characters and telling a good story, and one that had to be told the paper was for writing on, not eating.

Still, it is fairly enjoyable, though completely unnecessary and forgettable.

Not a great weekend for fantasy and sci-fi, I'm afraid. "Mirror Mirror" is fine if you have kids or just want some silly camp this weekend. No matter what though, I'd recommend staying far away from "Wrath of the Titans."

Will you see either of these movies this weekend?
