The Students of Tower House School in London filmed their own adaptation of The Hobbit. The film was screened for parents at the school, and they are working toward putting the whole thing online.
"In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit." On September 21, 1937, J.R.R. Tolkien published The Hobbit. 75 years later, we're still reading about that hobbit who left that hole in the ground to follow a band of dwarves and a wizard on a great adventure. The children's novel has been translated into more than 40 languages, sold tens of millions of copies, and has been made into an upcoming movie trilogy. It even had a series of sequels you may have heard of.
Thanks for years of adventure, Bilbo Baggins. Happy 75th Birthday!
