With the "Twilight" series of movies drawing to a close, I guess the studios needed to find some way to keep that money flowing in. Here's the first trailer for the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's other book, "The Host," about an alien parasite who falls in love. Of course it does.

Am I wrong in thinking this can't possibly be anything but terrible? Has anyone read this book? It at least can't be as bad as "Twilight." Right?

This is definitely one of those movies where nearly all the funny parts were in the trailer. The rest of the movie has a few minor chuckles and not much more. If you're still really interested in it, I'd recommend waiting for it to come out on DVD or Streaming and renting it.

If you do end up seeing The Watch though, please tell us what you think.

While Battleship isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, it's still awful. And long. Really long. I guess if you're really looking for an action movie and are sick of The Avengers, Battleship might satisfy you for a little while. Even then, I'd recommend staying home and renting something.

But this is just one large cat's opinion. Will you see Battleship? If you do, tell us what you think.

It's like he's apologizing for the quality of the cover art. "Wait, wait! Please just stick around, I promise it's much better than this cover implies. In fact, I'm pretty sure whatever the hell's going on here isn't even in the book."
